Restrictions:All PERSONS present in the Courtroom shall be dressed in a manner that shows dignity and respect for the Court.Unacceptable attire includes:1. Shorts, cut-offs, baggy pants, flip-flop style shoes, or hats.2. Muscle shirts, T-shirts, clothing indicating gang affiliation or other clothing with offensive, vulgar, racist, sexist, obscene, suggestive words, slogans, depictions, or pictures, including grotesque creatures. Clothing should be neat and clean if at all possible.

About / Additional Info:District courts have original jurisdiction in all felony criminal cases, divorce cases, cases involving title to land, election contest cases, civil matters in which the amount in controversy (the amount of money or damages involved) is $200 or more, and any matters in which jurisdiction is not placed in another trial court. While most district courts try both criminal and civil cases, in the more densely populated counties the courts may specialize in civil, criminal, juvenile, or family law matters. The District courts 22nd, 207th 274th, 421st, 428th, and 433rd serve the Comal, Hays, and Caldwell counties.
